College Football Lock posted on 09/12/2008

Being that I cover sports in Iowa, I should offer the lock of Saturday.  Bet the house, car, your girlfriend, etc. on Iowa State +13.5.  It's a rivalry game.  Iowa State won last year.  Iowa has played two nobody's.  Tell me how easy this is.  Just one winner a day.  Your welcome.

It's the Zbomb baby!  Coming to you from Cedar Falls, Iowa...the land of corn, floods and tornados.  My goal is to provide the out of town persepctive on the beloved Birds.  Lots of us are forced to move away from Philly but still follow the team religiously.  I have the advantage of being a sports broadcaster for a local news station so I get paid to watch and read sports all day.  By the way, people in Iowa love Sean Cosidine, he went to Iowa, but we all know he's too white to play safety in the NFL. 

If you're like me, you've been to every sports bar in your town and you know you have to get there early on Sundays to request the Eagles game.  I used to work in Fairbanks, Alaska so if you doubt my love for the Eagles, try fighting through your hangover and gettting up at 9 a.m. every Sunday for last two years when it's -35 out and still dark.
