I know Eagles have to play him this week., But I get a kick out of Clinton. Besides the injury risk he is a solid Runningback. I enjoyed watching him run back in denver, and even now like to watch him besides when he faces the EAGLES. The man Throws glasses on and a mustache there is his new character. I enjoy watching the espn coverage of his interviews.

Now I am sure it's not as bad as baseball or is it? Players have been accused f steroids use for ever yet more players get popped for Weed then Steroids. Maybe we need a better or more affetive test. In College they have scheduled test. Which gives players a chance to cycle off before test. Plus there is other ways around a piss test. Maybe they should invest in better test and test prep.
Now the reason for the blog. Tony Mandarich, the stud o line man from Michigan state. Now I have no hate for the man. Just wondering what difference it might have made in his bowl games if he was not having the extra advantage over a clean player. Also The difference for Green bay if they did not buy the Incredible Bulk theory. Imagine the Packers With Barry Sanders. Barry in the green and gold instead of Lions outfit. What a differnce that would make. The second round pick that was a total watse of space.

Well, I am going to pull a Frank Caliendo. Just pick three games and an upset.
Last week My star picks where pretty good other where not so hot. My worse week as of yet. Now My Upset pick of Ravens seemed to fall a field goal in over time just short. Or maybe a fumble from flacco caused my demise. either way a loss is a loss.
Now First Pick will between Kansas City Chiefs @ Carolina Panthers. I really like Carolina. The Suicide pick of my Choice. The Chiefs are coming off a big divisonal win. Which I wish I would of called since Broncos of late have not played the Chiefs well. Now The Panthers came off a big home win against the Falcons. I expect another solid performece from the passing game. Even thought I think Panthers Line injuries might hurt them slightly.

I pulled out a 3-1 record for the week. Also won all my suicide pools and another pick'em pool winner. Granted only about 10 people in the pool so not as specail as it sound but an easy 50 dollars.
So I do want to argue and go 31/2-1/2. I mean the Ravens games was spot on besides Titans pulled out the victory. I have to confess I did take Titans on pick'em Pool. I usally take that on Weds so I can turn it in.
I nailed the Cowboys game. A tuff one to the wire. I sure hope my Vegas friends have a smile on there face today.
The Panthers where a breeze. My Suicide pool thanks them as well I do. I am gonna be one happy fellow if I pull out 610 wip suicide pool. Still a log way to go with over 2 thousand people left.
Upset specail was simple. It was a well fought game also. Was a little worried about it for a whule.

A little back ground on me. I have an Eagles paint basement. with a 42 inch plasma and 27 inch tv. During Eagles game I have that on 27 with volume, with the plasma split screen. So Middle screen is a game that I deem good to watch, while other half of plasma is flipped between rest of the games. I have laptop on nfl.com and watch for teams to hit zone then flip to that game to see who scores. I am the commish in a few Fantasy leagues, but the one I usually have several members over to watch the games. This way we can bs about fantasy as well as games we are watching. Also on rare occasions we try to make a trade.......Very Rare...............lol.

OK , Who didn't know it would before trade deadline and Adam "Do not call me Pacman" Jones would have a police blotter again. Cowboys have decide it was not against his list of violations from the team. I really would like to see the list the tells him where he can not go, and when there is times he can go to certain places. According to Jerry Jones he was A OK being at hotel for the advent. Now I am sure this was just a little blow out of proportion by the media but police where called. I know if police where called for me I am sure I would recieve some kind of fine.

Watching 3 games at a time leads me to alot of opinions on football games. Some of them are bias, some on the number.
I watched the Redskins game down to the final field goal. Must say they where not the same team that I watched play the Eagles or cowboys. Campell was playing like he did last season. he did manage 200 and some yards and no picks. Portis on the other hand keep on rolling. He is have a great season so far. In the Ends the win-less Rams are now just the Rams or the one win Rams. A field goal sent The Skins back and gave Eagles a chance to gain some ground.

The Power Division and rankings have to be recalculated again. The Skins, Cowboys, Giants all lose. Worse part they all where pretty good size favorites. I personnel was rooting for the Rams. I have Stephen Jackson on Fantasy football, also in suicide pool the last contender took The Redskins........BYE BYE BYE............Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
The Cowboys lost was more of a shock. I do admit the Cardinals had me worried from the get go. The Offense can score and Cowboys are banged up. Now they are more people on the injury report, I think they are competing with the Patriots. Even though the Cowboys Injury report players are out unlike the Patriots list of soreness. The Game was sloppy by the Cowboys. Romo was more like a hitting bag then a quarterback. The Special Teams, Well they decided to take the night off.

A trade deadline comes and passes. The Eagles sit idle again. I was not expecting much, this is the NFL. There rarely is a big trade during the season....... What There was a big Trade? Where did Tony Gonzo go? Was not him. So Roy Williams went to the niners? No He went where???????? What the !@!#% is that. As I passed out in Shock. I awoke later to see it was true.
Remember the Summer Eagles actual made a big trade. They got a mild mannered receiver. He turn in to the freak of nature, but that media posses freaked got us over the hump to a super bowl. Now TO is teammates with another hot shot reciever. As much as I love Kevin Curtis and Desean Jackson. Why can't we pull the trade off to get the weapons we need. We got Curtis slowed by a hernia, Reggie Hamstring Brown. We have two first round picks. We could not get the receiver this year. Well, if we are sitting by watching the Cowboys play in January I will not be surprised.

I know for some that means a week with out the beloved birds. Other just means you get to watch another football game. So I added a few videos to get you by. I know it's not the same as watching the hard hitting Eagles play.
I wanted to look back at the Season so far. at 3-3 in bottom of the division is not where I was hoping to be. The Season Had it's chances. The Cowboys game we had it up to the double clutch handoff fumble from D Mac. The game was exciting, with lots of points. After the Fumble Cowboys scored leaving the Eagles little time or chance to comeback.

Seems I keep pulling out a 3-1 record. At-least my Upset pick is coming through. Well, seeing the crystal ball is busted(From the Video), time to dig deep and pick out the winners. First I will go with my Suicide team. In case you do not know what Suicide pool is. A group of people each week take one winner. If your team wins you move on to next week. If you lose you are done. The trick is you can not pick the same team more then once. Now lets go to the picks.
First Games is Pittsburgh taking on the Bengals. I like the Steelers coming off a bye week. They have some health concerns, but will have enough to take down the Palmer less Bengals. Cinn is licking wounds and looking for some hope for the season. It's not coming this weekend.

I can feel the mojo flowing, pulling out another 3-1 week. On top of that the upset special won for a third week in a row. I might go to Disney world. Ok maybe a little carried away. At-least should be able to help Frank Caliendo. Lets re look at my picks and maybe I will throw out the Monday night Madness pick.......lol.
First was my Suicide pick. That's Right I am in several Suicide or Elimination pool. Including the 610 WIP midday Suicide pool. If you like to check My credentials I am vet059. I took The Pittsburgh Steelers to take out the Bengals. They scored early, but left the Bengals in the game to late. Then the Steelers took over. Giving an easy Win.

To start the video of the play really happen this weekend. I think the ref had flashbacks to when he was in college. He lined up the QB and put him down with a nice arm tackle. I think there should of been a flag for 12 man on the field......lol.
Just want to take a look at this weekends games.
The Pats bounced back and ran all over the Broncos. Heading in to a match-up with the suddenly hot Rams. Might be time for the D to get back in to Denver. With the week off, look for some extra practice on run stopping. I think even with a torn acl I could hit the holes the Broncos where leaving open.

I am a fan of Winslow. I like big bruising TE. I know what you are thinking. Kellen spends more time bruised then inflicting Damage to others. I suppose I buy the hype. He has spent more time injured then Playing. Now this tin solider has complained about how he is treated. Maybe someone should show him his college tape. He dose not card about a Vol. He is tring to kill him. So maybe The owner dose not care what happens to you. Thy just want you out there to kill. They do not want you to kill the team with complaints. Time to buck up bud, You are like the filet of meat with what you get paid.

Week 8 is about to start. The Birds are rested and seems healthy after the bye. Westbrook, Curtis, and Brown seem ready to play. Even Lito Hamstring Sheppard is expected to suit up. They said bye to Tony Hunt, proof that Penn State is a linebacker school and not runningback. I personely like Tony, But with the runningbacks we have he just did not seem to fit in. Westbrrok was a given, Buckhater played well while Westbrook was out, Booker is a stud and great back up.
The Eagles come back from the Bye and now have all there wearons Healthy. Report are Desean Jackson will remain the starter. I know it is one play, And I see alot of play action to start a game. put Curtis, Reggie, and Curtis out there sunday. Westbrook in back field, fake hand off and go deep to Curtis or Jackson. Like we have not seen that yet.

If you are able to watch clips on my blog, enjoy the video. If not it is a trailer for Saw V.
I am a fan of the Saw franchise and hope the new one dose not let me down. Happy early Halloween to the movie industry.
The Commish NFL pick’em for week 8. I have been –1 for several weeks straight. This week I am a little more worried about how I will do. I have several games I like, but give you three of them and one Upset special that has rolled in the bank three straight weeks.

I expect allot of points in the London showdown. Drew Brees will be out to make a statement against the Chargers. He use to play there and he let in a fashion that makes Favre seem simple. There was allot of bad blood between the two after the Drafted Eli Manning and Traded him for Ryan leaf, oh wait Sorry Phillip Rivers.....lol. With out Bush and maybe Duece's last game for a month. I think we get to see if Colston is health or not. The Yards should be piling on with The Chargers D missing Merriweather. They Rank 31st over all I believe. So if you play fantasy and need a receiver. Look for Lance Moore, Or Henderson to also have big games. Meachem might even get involved. If need tight end help, go get Billy Miller. Since we have no Reggie Bush here is some video of him, and what they are missing in London.

To My faithful blog readers, You all ready know I was 3-1. I had another great weekend. I had 6 games I was looking at and Jags where only one to let me down. I am also giving out my Monday Night Specail. I Like the Colts and the Over. Peyton Manning and Monday Night football, how can you go against him. I like a close game so thinking final 27-20. Colts open up the Titans D.
Also A quick shout out to the Phillies. I am a Mets Fan first, but do not have a problem with the Phils. Nice to see a team in Philly Win. I believe there will be a game five Victory. If they Do I just hope the city is standing to hold a Parade.......lol. I original Called the Phils in 6 So I will settle to be wrong for The Phillies get the Championship.
First the Philadelphia Soul, Then The Phillies, Who's next in the city of brotherly love?????

Not sure whats going on with Manning. He is not releasing the ball with same zip or accuracy. I am shocked that he is suffering this bad from a knee aliment. I always enjoyed watching the colt play in the past. Yesterday I believe I spent more time focusing on the Phils then the Colts. I am not sure the deal but besides the Ravens game Peyton has not been the same QB.
The Eagles on the other hand have shown some signs of life. I must admit they have some momentum going in to the rest of the season. Now The Seahawks come in and finally woke up them self. Only one win going for two.
The Cowboys and Giants have an importent match-up this weekend. Could mean alot for either team that win. Bring the Giants down to the league or put them another game up. Unfourtenly for the Cowboys they have injury issues to deal with. Should be a good game either way. The Giants seem to be playing to the level of the competition.

Ever wondered what the players in the NFL are fined for? How much are the fines anyway? The following is the NFL's 2008 Fine Schedule. If you've never seen it, it's very interesting.
Fines listed are minimums unless otherwise specified. Other forms of discipline, including higher fines, suspension and banishment may also be imposed, based on the circumstances of the particular violation.
Players who were fined for violations in 2007 and whose fines were either partially or fully upheld, will be considered second and/or repeat offenders under this policy. Rescission of fines for first offenders shall not be automatic.
They do get the right to pick the charity so League is not getting the money, but thought this was interesting
Also there is a violation where team pays fine after second player is suspended up to 200,000. Which Dallas is paying for Adam Jones. Maybe the NFl should pick USA as there Charity they way they give out fines the Economy will be fixed in no time.........lol

Halloween history video. Just thought on this day share the history of Halloween. Also wanted to send out a salute to the Philadelphia Eagles, and their 2008 World Series Championship win. So enough about learning lets play Trick or Treat Football Picks.
I usually start with my Suicide pick, well it's trick time. We will start with the Upset Special. Now for the treat, I have been on fire with upsets. I won the last 4 straight going for a fifth.
The Patriots @ The Colts
When the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts face each other, AFC supremacy is usually on the line. That's not the case this year, as each team has had to cope with a multitude of injuries and neither has dominated its competition.

The Ladies from Fantasy Sports girls give me a hand with some picks. Besides who the ladies pick I am giving some helping hands with week 9 pickups. With LT, Carolina runningbacks, Jake Delhome, Drew Brees, and Phillip Rivers sitting out, time to hit the waivers.
Quarterback backups, looks kind of slim. Unless you draft a qb that is playing and healthy might need to look for some help. Matt Ryan has had decent numbers and Roddy seems to get him one Touchdown a week. Also Jeff Garcia and Gus Freotte should be hovering in free agent land. Also if you are desperate you should have Jamarcus Russell. Worse case can go for Brad Johnson or Brook Bollinger as a fill in.
