Atlanta Falcons

Falcons Move on and let Vick go free.

The Falcons had to change the teams philosophy.  The had a run and gun QB and now they where searching for a new QB. Bobby Petrino Quits on the Team, during the season. So they have a good draft position and get the Replacement QB they needed.  They Also bring in a Starting RB that was a back up to LT. Now they are ready for a rebuilding year or so we thought,

The started the Season with only three starters as when they lost the Championship game against the Eagles.  They started out the season beating the Lions. Then Lost on the road to Carolina and also Tampa Bay. They Beat Green Bay and KC. The game before the bye and they hosted The Bears. It was a good game and the Bears took a late lead but Matt Ryan and a few passes got them in field goal range for the win.

After the bye week they had to travel to Phila. Eagles where not nice host as they took the win away from Atlanta. Then got back on the winning form  crushing Oakland and beating New Orleans  at home.  Then Denver cam in and stole a game. Carolina came to town and Falcons got revenge as they sent Panthers away with a lose. Then traveled to San Diego and took a win. They Went to Mardi Gras land and came up short. Then finished the season with wins over Tampa Bay, Minnesota, and Rams.

Wild card locked but had a chance for a bye week.

The Falcons actual did have a chance to advance from the first round if The Saints could of found a way to beat the Panthers.  Drew Brees did his best but came 16 yards and 2 points short and helping the Falcons out. Now the Falcons get to play the Cardinals and Vegas bpys like Falcons in the showdown of the Birds.
