Cowboy hoe down

Pacman gets 2nd chance this season. Now I personally like Adam's play on the field, off the field and his current team different story. He was a great player in West Virginia and coming out of college he had a few strikes against him. Then In Tennessee, the biy lost his mind. I do think NFl new rookie programs might have helped him, but he still has inner demons to contend with. Depending if you are a Cowboys fan or not seems to be where your thoughts on the suspension  fairness.

Cowboys fans  for the most part seem to think it was unfair. That it was small issue. That a 2 game suspension was enough, The Bring up that no drugs where involved and no weapons either. The only thing that cause a stir was te call to the police. Also Cowboys fans saw that their team was in a bind and act like Roger was doing it to hurt them.

Now non Cowboy fans seem to thing Pacman goose was cooked. They seem to believe all his priors should be accounted for. That the rest of the year should have been his punishment. That pentalty would have hurt Titans more the the Cowboys.....lol. They would owe Cowboys a draft pick if he did not come back. They  think his stint in AA was just for show and dose not mean anything. Mpst also thing Goodell took it easy to keep Dallas Competitive.

Now My take is that Pacman is a trouble young man. He has payed for his past crimes. Yet you can not forget about them if Pacman has more troubles. In the future troubles will really hurt Pacmans playing time. All I got to say Pacman dose not need to worry about   Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde and y more. He has Rodger Goodell chasing him. So let's see if Pacman can right is ship this time for good. Next time he picks up a drink I hope he is home alone with nothing to distract him.

Adam Pacman Jones You have been served. Lets hoped for the last time.

  1. Vet, the thing with Pacman shouldn't be whether you're a fan of the Cowboys or not...it should be about what's fair!  Goodell has punished Adam more harshly than he has other players, on this situation (not his past issues).  Now I'm not saying that we should forget about his past indiscretions, but he paid for those sins...should he not be given a clean slate?  What happened in that bar is child's play compared to the boat incident with the Vikings, Brett Favre and his addiction to pain pills (no suspension because he's Brett Favre), Matt Jones and his cocaine, and the slew of players with the water pills!

I'm all for cleaning up the NFL, but would you have lost your job if the same thing happened to you?  Probably not, because your boss would never find out.  If he did, he 's probably more mad that he wasn't invited to the shindig!

    Peace!

P.S.  The Titans still have to give the Cowboys a 5th round pick next year and they will also have to give back the 6th round that they were to get as well.  Actually that 6th round pick has already been used by the 'Boys to acquire Roy Williams.  In the end, it only cost the Cowboys a 4th, in return they got Pacman and a 5th from Tennessee.
