Commish getting ready for monday night football

The Commish blowing off some steam. It is week nine and like I was expecting I had a bad fantasy week. Still keep my rankings in the important leagues. Now I have some steam to blow off. I have Brandon Marshall; of course he had a 77-yard touchdown called back. A play that both player where grabbing each other. I mean there is like four Offensive hold calls all year and that is officially second one that has cost me fantasy Points. I have Steven Jackson I am fine to get whole seven carries and drop a TD pass. One week I need him to be there and he was a ghost. Lucky my other players did there part. Boldin stepped up like usually. Ravens D get a late touchdown. Mo-Jo got me a td. I started the wrong TE. Then J. addai did not get me much but first game back was expecting it, at least he played the entire game. Now just for the Washington Kicker to kick it up…….lol.

Ok now to some other NFL points. I am glad to announce that Brady Golden Domer Quinn Will start Thursday. Now I do not expect him to hit the field running but just glad he is now the starter. It took longer then I was hoping for. Also means when I go to see the Eagles Browns game on Monday Night Football I will get to see Brady for a full 4 quarter baring injury.

Culpepper is back and he is better then before. Hey naw hey naw Culpepper is back.

Now not expecting much but I do expect the lions will not go winless. Also Calvin Johnson will have some decent fantasy numbers. Also makes it fun to watch there game on thanksgiving. Have to watch it either way. Titans will win, but make it a little closer.

Quarterback getting hurt at an alarming rate. The Commissioner has rules to protect QB’s. I have to say back to the drawing board. Time to put flags on the red shirted Quarterback. I must admit I like seeing a qb get flatten in the backfield, but some of these roughing the qb flags need to be kept in the pocket.

Now I know this is an Eagles Blog. This is the commish’s state of the Cowboys address.

They have fallen to bottom of the pack in the division. I know at this point Romo’s injury dose not seem to be the biggest problem. I on the other hand think it is the problem. The Cowboys like most teams believe what they hear and read. They believe they will struggle with out Romo  and that is what they are doing. I believe a team is as good as it’s weakest link. That would be the coach.  A coach has to get the players to step up to the challenge of an injury. Play to player’s strong suits. That is not what the Cowboys are doing. They are still trying to sling it down field. You do not have the quarterback to do so. So go with the short routes to Crayton, which seem to work. Screens to Barber. Screen to TO and if catches it let him make a move with the ball. Occasionally throw a deep one to keep the Defense honest. I think Cowboys will be back and Ready and have their MOJO back after the Bye. It’s not because they are healthy, but because the player with Romo think they can win again. Just have to hope it is not to little to late. The Division is tough and you are at bottom of pecking order and you have several teams ahead of you for playoff spots. Wild Card might not even go to both NFC East teams.

So state of Cowboys is in disarray for another week then they can right the ship and hope for some help.

  1. Vet...Cowboys are indeed in need of some rest.  they need to heal up and get cracking after the bye week.  Maybe they should consult Ricky Williams and his holistic medicine to help speed up the healing process?  On second thought...that could lead to many suspensions!  Peace!

P.S.  Hasbeens is making his move...look out!
