Halloween history video. Just thought on this day share the history of Halloween. Also wanted to send out a salute to the Philadelphia Eagles, and their 2008 World Series Championship win. So enough about learning lets play Trick or Treat Football Picks.
I usually start with my Suicide pick, well it's trick time. We will start with the Upset Special. Now for the treat, I have been on fire with upsets. I won the last 4 straight going for a fifth.
The Patriots @ The Colts
When the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts face each other, AFC supremacy is usually on the line. That's not the case this year, as each team has had to cope with a multitude of injuries and neither has dominated its competition.
The Patriots enter Sunday night's contest at Lucas Oil Stadium in the better shape of the two, looking to win their third straight game while the Colts try to avoid a third consecutive defeat.
Patriots get the Treats as The Colts find another trick to ruin there season.
The Eagles @ The Seahawks
With All-Pro Brian Westbrook back in the lineup and Donovan McNabb scrambling and making plays, the Philadelphia Eagles look like they can make a run for the playoffs. Westbrook and McNabb try to lead the Eagles to their third straight victory on Sunday when they visit the Seattle Seahawks, who are expected to be without quarterback Matt Hasselbeck for a fourth straight game.
Seattle will probably need to air it out again this week as they face a Philadelphia team that limited the Falcons to 77 rushing yards on 24 attempts last week. The Seahawks were held to a season-low 39 yards on 28 carries last Sunday.
Eagles get to haunt Qwest Field, As the Seahawks are just dying with the last year of their Coach.
The Bengals host The Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars have endured a disappointing first half to the season, but back-to-back games against teams that are currently win-less could help put them back on the right track. The Jaguars look to win their fifth straight against the dismal Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. Each of the Jaguars' seven games has been decided by seven points or less - a trend which continued last Sunday with a 23-17 loss at home to Cleveland.
The last two defeats have been especially embarrassing, with Bengals getting outscored by a combined 49-3 in the second half. After a 38-10 home loss to Pittsburgh on Oct. 19, the Bengals fell 35-6 last Sunday at Houston. They are still looking to get first win of the season. TJ Housh, has promised at-least two wins. If he dose not get one will walk from his home to The NFL network studio. Well what a treat for people in California.
The Jaguars get Revenge from last weeks lose. Bengals do get a nice treat next week is their bye.
The Lions @ The Bears
The Chicago Bears are tied atop the NFC North, thanks to a surprisingly high-powered offense led by a rejuvenated Kyle Orton. The team's once-vaunted defense, however, appears vulnerable. Coming off their bye week, the Bears look for a better defensive effort against the win-less Detroit Lions, one of the worst offensive teams in the league, on Sunday at Soldier Field.
The Lions are coming off a 25-17 loss to Washington last Sunday. Detroit took its first opening-quarter lead of the season, but was outscored 22-10 after the first period. The Lions have lost their last three games by an average of 5.7 points after dropping their first four by an average of 27.0, but that's of little consolation to their coach.
This is the Suicide pick of the Commish.
The Bears destroy the lions hope this week.
To all my blog follwers have a safe and fun Halloween.
