Colts go down in a blaze of ???????

Not sure whats going on with Manning. He is not releasing the ball with same zip or accuracy. I am shocked that he is suffering this bad from a knee aliment. I always enjoyed watching the colt play in the past. Yesterday I believe I spent more time focusing on the Phils then the Colts. I am not sure the deal but besides the Ravens game Peyton has not been the same QB.

The Eagles on the other hand have shown some signs of life. I must admit they have some momentum going in to the rest of the season. Now The Seahawks come in and finally woke up them self. Only one win going for two.

The Cowboys and Giants have an importent match-up this weekend. Could mean alot for either team that win. Bring the Giants down to the league or put them another game up. Unfourtenly for the Cowboys they have injury issues to deal with. Should be a good game either way. The Giants seem to be playing to the level of the competition.

Lets go phil. Win the last three innings this season.

Keywords: Colts, Dallas. Giants. Cowboys, Eagles, Phillies

  1. Vet...you're correct about Peyton Manning.  It seems that his knee is still bothering him somewhat.  It could be psychological more than physical at this point.  It seems he is worried about stepping into his throws, which is causing his accuracy and velocity to suffer.  Whatever the reason, he is not the same QB right now...he is mediocre at best...which is better than most...still!

The Cowboys are hurting with all these injuries...but that's football!  No excuses...you keep playing.  You hope to still be in contention for the tournament when the guys get healthy!  I was hoping for a split these last two games before the bye.  They got their win against the Bucs...so this would be gravy.  Going into the bye at 5-4 (6-3 if they get a miracle against the G-Men), would leave them in a good position for a wild-card and possibly a division championship.  Either way, if the 'Boys get healthy, I like their chances in the play-offs, at home or on the road.  But first things first...make the tournament!  Peace!
