It's the Eagles week off!

I know for some that means a week with out the beloved birds. Other just means you get to watch another football game. So I added a few videos to get you by.  I know it's not the same as watching the hard hitting Eagles play.

I wanted to look back at the Season so far. at 3-3 in bottom of the division is not where I was hoping to be. The Season Had it's chances. The Cowboys game we had it up to the double clutch handoff fumble from D Mac. The game was exciting, with lots of points. After the Fumble Cowboys scored leaving the Eagles little time or chance to comeback.

The Bears Game! What Can I say we have a better play call at the goal line or at-least Westbrook banging the ball in. I would even like to see Klecko or Hunt take there chance. Better let air it out on third with a D Mac bootleg. Well, another lost on a bad call. Kyle Orton beat us for three scores, That stung a little. Giving us our second lose.

The Skins Game at our house. Wow we took the early lead and let it slip away. We had our chances and we could not do anything to take advantage. Then Portis was able to run on us like a freight train. Leaving us to get revenge when we travel down to Washington D.C.

The Wins where all high scoring for the Eagles. We Blew out the Rams who are a struggling team, that might found some answers during it's bye week and firing their coach. The Rams pulled a might upset this pass weekend while playing the Redskins.

The Steelers Game. What a wonderful game after a let down game in Dallas. I was so impressed the way the game went down. It was an exciting game that had a def match up. The score was a little close but never had a doubt we would have the win when all was done. Ben looked like a 100 million dollar tackling dummy during that game.

The 49ers Game was a scare early in the third. After a blocked Akers field goal before half time and a touchdown after the half. The 49ers took a lead. Then The Eagles regained their swagger and Defense stepped up to play. The game ended in a route, but was closer till the end. The Eagles backups on offense step up.

During our bye week the Eagles try and heal some wounds. Going for the rest of the season, hoping to Have Westbrook, Kevin Curtis, and Reggie Brown healthy. The lose some close games, in second half they are hoping to pull those games to the win colume. So till next week birds rest up.

  1. Vet...the Eagles blew a few games that could have gone the either way!  At 3-3, the Eagles could use the bye week to get Westbrook and McNabb healthy fort the stretch run.  It's not over yet for the Birds...but not much room for error!  How 'bout them Phillies?  Peace!
