Desean Jackson made a highlight real with a mistake Monday night. So I figured I will go over some of my Favorite Mistakes in NFL. I am ranking them but what I have witnessed in NFL. Then Mention a couple I have seen on NFL films.
My personel Favorite is Plaxico Burress. Catches a first down over the middle. Then gets up spikes the ball and celebrates the first down. Which Jaguars picked up and got turnover. The best part was his nickname, SPIKE LEE.....lol.
Arron Brooks, I know the name name alone means nothing specail of a player. The biggest mistake was him playing period....lol. One game against the chargers he take the snap breaks a tackle and get spun around. then throws the ball away...Wait he threw it the wrong way. Leading to a 30 yard lost......I did get a great chucle that day.
Leon Lett, Where do I start first. I guess I will go with Thanksgiving. Game was in the bag the big man comes roaring down field and slides in to the ball. Leaving it live for the Dolphins to pick up and win the game. Well, I will say Leon Lett was a generouse host that year.
Then in the same year the Super Bowl!!!!!!! Big Man was rumble, stumble his way to the endzone. Then deided to Celbrate in fashion. Wait a second who is that masked man, It was Don Foam helmet Beebe. He knocked the ball from Leon's hands getting Buffalo the ball back with a touchback. Last laughs did go to the winning team and Leon Lett.
Proof the game is not over to final whistle. The Browns are are winning 10 seconds left. Trent Green drops back for a pass. He gets sacked, oh wait he lateraled the ball. Dwayne Rudd gets up throws his helmet celebratings his sack and the win. Wait a second there are yellow flags on the ground. Unsportsmand like pentalty andthe chiefs win the game. Rudd would kept his helmet on and the browns win.
Matt Hasselback, This was a classic. The game is in over time. Seatle wins the toss against Green bay. Hasselback Says we will take the ball and drive down and win the game. Well, He did throw the winning pass. To the waiting arms of Al Harris. As Al Harris returned the ball everyones was just looking and laught at Matt.
Lets go to bone head plays that let to a medical visit.
Bill Grammatica, Celebrating a fildgoald that ment little in a loss. He came down ackwardly and tore his ACL. Now not laughting at the injury, cause I can feel his pain.....ouch. I could see the point of dancing if he won the game, but I guess in the heat of the moment he got caght up in the excitment.
Deion Prime Time Sanders. We all know he was a show off. One game for the 49ers, he was dancing after a 93 yard td interception run. Ouch a pulled hamstring. Now not sure, but make he should of took it a little easier after running that far.
Gus the mad mand Frerotte. Celebrating a one yard td run. He goes for the Washington Headbutt. To bad the cement wall under the padding won. No real damage was done to Frerotte in filming.
Now a few plays I have only seen on NFL Films Presents.
Jim Marshall, The man Was a great player for the Purple people eaters. In a game against San fran he made a big boo boo. He picked up a fumble and Stiumpled his way to the endzone. He spike the ball with authority. He looked around and saw none of his teammates where joining him to celebrate. Then the Ref had there hands above heads but not a touchdown sign but hands where together. He scored a safety for the other team. He ran the ball the wrong way. Wow, Desean got nothing on Marshall.
Then The supper bowl, The Dolphins going for the perfect season. Garo Yepremin lining up to kick a field goal and Put the Dolphins up 17-0. He gets the attempt blocked. He picks it up and runs to sidelines. He decides to pass it. Wait asecond your a kicker. The ball goes up in the air. A redskin defender picks it up and takes it to the house. Unlike the Patriots the Dolphins where able to complete the perfect season.
Well to the millions and Millions of my blogger friends.....lol. I will be going under the knife Thursday to repair my ACl. So the next couple of months I will have nothing better to do then Blog. So keep on reading,
