Draft day is coming soon Philadelphia, but as usual we probably shouldn't get our hopes up. Who would have guess that the Eagles are apparently interested in acquiring an offensive lineman? if you can't detect my sarcasm then you are either dense or simply not paying attention. Although it may be the best thing for the team, I think I speak for all Eagles' fans when I say, "we are tired of the same old stale draft days". Last year was an absolute disaster, so one could say anything would be better than trading to a division rival and drafting a questionable, unproven quarterback named KOLB. Even the name is boring. The Eagles front office can no longer afford to be patient. The Assante Samuel signing was great and he should make a great addition to our team. However, we paid an inflated price and he doesn't exactly help us on the offensive side of the ball. The NFC East has quickly become the toughest division in the entire NFL and the Eagles are on the outside looking in. I'll be honest, Kevin Curtis is a nice player and had a great '07 season, but in all reality he's not a huge threat. There are game changing players that are either still out there or have already been snatched up. Bernard Berrian would have been a tremendous addition to our team.
