I thibk Jones is trying to trade him but to cut him would not be an option. We all know T.O. and if cowboys cut him he will go to Redskins or Giants just to get back at Eagles and

The Ravens flight in to Titan land.

The Ravens and Titans have had a couple great playoff games. So the winner here should have a good chance to making the trip to Tampa. Now the first meeting belonged to Tenn. With this match up will be decided by the Ravens Def. The pressure on QB and the handeling of Chris Johnson. Whie the Ravems are playing good and very happy with their advancemeny in the playoffs.

BCS Championship game.

Final college game of the season. Not that it is ending the way it should. I still rather have a play off system. To we change the way we decide a champion this is the best we have to offer. I personel had to flip a coin to decide the winner. I know the rule is win heisman lose championship so Florida is the pick. Vegas also agreed that that Florida was going to win. So Oklahoma would need a lot things to go there way for a victory. Thought the 5 points in vegas sounds good. The time for the coin toss, heads Florida tails Sooners. Coin is up and landed on tails. Well, my offical Pick is taking the points and going with the Oklahoma Sooners.

The cruised against the Rams, and lose a shootout with the Cowboys on Monday night football.  Then a home butt whipping of Steelers got them back in the win column. Then A Westbrook less Eagles blew a goal line chance against the Bears. Followed by a lose to Redskins. The jumped out to an early lead and pack it up at half time. They traveled to San Fran and got a big win before the Bye Week.

The Superbowl Pick from NFC......The Cowboys kind of packed it up about a month ago.

Lets just Say the Cowboys where the golden team starting the season. Then Romo Got hurt and the soap opera in the media was started. The Boys had a chance to control their destiny twice and failed. I do not think Romo is cursed, but Wade Phillips might be. Remember the Music city Miracle........Yeah Wade might be still cursed. He is suppose to come back. I agree for one more year......When Mike Holgrem might want to return. Holgrem and

The Dallas Cowboys taking on Baltimore Ravens. Will be a show down with both teams on playoff bubble. A Saturday night game they got right from the beginning of the season. Key to the game. Keep ware off of Flacco, Romo needs to watch out for ed reed. Romo also needs to be upright and not laying under Ray Lewis.

Surprise surprise surprise Eagles are back in the hunt. The Best part is The Eagles Destiny is in their hand. They Have the Browns On Monday Night next Week I will be there so look for a black 59 jersey. Well, Congrats to the Eagles even thought the Giants where to distracted to win. Even though the Eagles held them to 211 yards and Westbrook only had 7 less yards then their team. With ascoring drive at the end when it was offically a win for the Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys Took over hosting Turkey day action in 1966. They did not host in 1975 and 1977. I was born in 77 so not sure why they did not those years. So up to two years ago there was two games on Thanksgiving. Then The NFL and NFL Network added a night game.

Ever wondered what the players in the NFL are fined for? How much are the fines anyway? The following is the NFL's 2008 Fine Schedule. If you've never seen it, it's very interesting.

Fines listed are minimums unless otherwise specified. Other forms of discipline, including higher fines, suspension and banishment may also be imposed, based on the circumstances of the particular violation.

Week 8 is about to start. The Birds are rested and seems healthy after the bye. Westbrook, Curtis, and Brown seem ready to play. Even Lito Hamstring Sheppard is expected to suit up. They said bye to Tony Hunt, proof that Penn State is a linebacker school and not runningback. I personely like Tony, But with the runningbacks we have he just did not seem to fit in. Westbrrok was a given, Buckhater played well while Westbrook was out, Booker is a stud and great back up.

The Skins got a win after a terrible offensive day and should be grateful for the Cowboys loss.

Well that’s all I really care about, people are saying the South division is strong but they have not met up with the East just yet. Next week will be a good match up between Tampa and Dallas. Also my beloved Birds return to face the upstart Falcons. The Skins should have an easy day against Detroit but we all now what happened against the Rams. We could not get the receiver this year. Well, if we are sitting by watching the Cowboys play in January I will not be surprised.

I Remember Steve Spurrier Drafting Rod Gardner(thanks by the way). He actual made the reference that he took a player they did not need but was worried Someone in the division would take. I like that cut throat attitude. No we have never wrong but always take the blame Andy Reid. I must admit I have always like the big guy. Just like he was Santa. I just want the big gift, starting to believe Big red is not going to get it done. He seems to be so ho hum, So I will Just root for the birds knowing they are not rooting for us blue collar workers. I Buy Eagles Merchandise every year, like clock work. Yet All I ask for is a winner, a super bowl ring, a championship ring, and a commercial with D Mac taking a trip to Disney.

You won't see many 12-10 final score folks.

Cardinals 30 Cowboys 24

Never before had an NFL team started a game with a kickoff return for a score, then ended it with a blocked punt in overtime for a touchdown. Infact, it was the first time in NFL history that a blocked punt for a touchdown ended a game in overtime. Dallas scored 10 points in the final 2 minutes of regulation, sending the game into overtime when Nick Folk's 52-yard field goal barely cleared the crossbar as the fourth quarter ended. Cards QB Kurt Warner went 22-30 for 236 netting 2 touchdowns to go along with an interception. Tony Romo had 321 yards from a 34-39 passing day along with 3 Touchdowns. News broke today that Romo will be sidelined for 4 months with a broken finger. We'll see how they play without him.

Must admit with only four games I watched Eagles with Volume Cowboys on middle screen and flipped between Broncos and Seahawks. I have Jones-Drew and he might have saved my week with his performances. Granted his gain was due to injury Fred Taylor. This was my upset special for people that read my Friday blogs. The Broncos have a great secondary, but have no way to stop the run. They need some help to make Cutler the Elway replacement they want him to be. In the mean time thanks for making my Upset special come true.

With the Phillies winning their NLDS against the Milwaukee Brewers, it got me thinking whether Philadelphia is a Football town or a Baseball town?  On Thursday evening on Fox, the Phillies will host the L.A. Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLCS.  I’m not a big fan of baseball, but I do like the Phillies (Mets, and Yankees as well).  I watch about a handful of games a year including the playoffs.  I was never really into baseball…I just don’t get the fascination?  I find it slow, dull, and extremely boring…unless you’re at the ballpark…then it’s a whole different story!  When you’re actually at the game, it’s exciting and much more “family friendly” than football.

As everyone knows that I am a Cowboys fan, I try and look at things objectively.  Reid may be the best coach the Eagles have ever had.  His record speaks for itself.  The Eagles have enjoyed great success under Reid’s leadership.  He has won many division titles and led them to a Super Bowl.  Is he perfect?  No!  Is he stubborn?  Yes!  Should he be fired?  Absolutely not!

Bill Belichick, Head Coach of the New England Patriots, was accused by Al Davis of “tampering” with Randy Moss prior to their trade a year ago.  The Raiders received a 4th round pick as compensation in the deal.  Davis alleges that the Patriots had a secret workout with Moss prior to the negotiations, which would violate NFL rules.  Bill (here’s a surprise) denies the accusation.

On Saturday night, I relearned a lesson I already knew.  Often times, we need to be reminded of lessons we learned as a child.  When we were children, things were simpler.  We didn’t judge, we just played with everyone…all the other children were our friends.  We learned to judge, as we grew older.  Our teachers always taught us right from wrong…but did we listen?

The NFL, in my opinion, is the best sport in the world.  It is a violent game played by phenomenal athletes, who by the way, get paid handsomely for it.  Every year the NFL Competition Committee comes up with new rules to “improve” the game.  For instance, this year, they got rid of the 5-yard facemask penalty.  Now it’s either a 15-yard personal foul, or incidental contact and no penalty…what genius came up with that one?
