Hello Eagles fans,

Being that our beloved Iggles are gearing up to go into Dallas to face the hated Cowgirls, I feel obligated to share with you my most memorable Cowgirls moments. Since this is my blog, I can call that pop-warner football team in Dallas just whatever I feel like at the moment, so please enjoy it with me.

To start out I am from El Paso, Texas, I know what you are thinking but my deep rooted hatred for the Cowgals might be a little different than most Eagles fans my age. You see growing up in Texas and loving sports you are overwhelmed with football. Friday nights were and will forever be rituals where small drilling towns, stop production to go and see the youngsters kill themselves on the field for the good of tradition. From the big cities to the small Western Texas towns, Football is a religion.

Hello Eagles fans,

Well now that we are less than a week away from the Monday night game in Dallas, it seems that the Cowgirls are more scared of us than Hurricane Ike. Everyone seems to be taking shots at Philly, from that wonderful actress Jessica Simpson to that other wonderful actress Crybaby Johnson (T.O.) and even Adam “Ms. Pacman” Jones has gotten into the mud slinging. All my life I hear how Eagles are classless and pathetic, but in all reality our players seem to be less fazed by the other team then us.

They just want to go out there and do the best they can, I want to go out there and get a roughing the passer penalty on every play. Our QB seems to have his best games playing in Texas stadium, so I can understand his calmness and resolve. So while they keep on flapping their jaws about how the Browns are better than the Rams. Our boys are over here watching film and preparing to expose the mediocrity that is Roy “I can’t cover my own bed” Williams.

NFC EAST

Week 2

Hello Eagles fans!

As I wait around waiting for tomorrow’s match up, I can’t help and look at our division just to get a sneak peek at the Gmen and the Redskins. They both seem pretty strong but as I watched the games I couldn’t help and notice some really big holes for both teams. Starting of with the scores you quickly see the depth on both sides of the ball for both teams.

First off let’s start with the Skins, tough high scoring game that was supposed to be about defense. Yeah they were resilient and held on to beat a Saints team that got rather lucky last week against a tough Tampa defense. If you give Campbell time in the pocket he will find a receiver, every time. But the times he needed to use his legs and was hurried he made bad decisions. The last touchdown to Moss, was his ability, he did a good job stepping up in the pocket to avoid the rush and knew Moss would get to the deep throw.

Hello Eagles fans,

After last night’s amazing game, I felt like extending my courtesies to the winning team and wishing them luck the rest of the season. Oh yeah right, they suck and we whooped their butts all over the field! Being the bigger person is so boring, good luck sucking for the rest of the year Cowgals. The confidence in our guys stands out and completely overshadows the opponent.

I wanted to express my feelings towards Crybaby Johnson all during the week preceding last night’s game. He ran his mouth just for the sake of hearing himself speak. I truly believe that he has a mental problem, there is no other way to explain it. He runs his mouth about his team, his coach, his former team and coach. Then two years later proclaims that the Eagles still wanted him there, hey brainiac if Andy wanted you there you would still be there…exhibit A. Brian Westbrook. He also had a Pro bowl year and went about getting his money like a man. Not like the hissy-fit throwing pre-pubescent girl, that he obviously is.

Hello Eagles fans,

I know you have been clamoring for my blog to post after those great literary works from last week. Okay let’s just leave it at that, we need to focus and pray so our boys don’t fall to 1-2. I believe that they could still get out of that hole and win the East but two wins seem a lot better than one going into the last week of September. Everyone knows the Steelers love to run and know they can supposedly throw. In order for us to come out victorious we will need a big offensive game, because the Steelers are awesome at blitzing.

I still think that their biggest holes are on the defensive secondary and just like we showed Adam (Ms. Pacman) Jones. We can throw against the Rams and the Cowgirls and I truly believe if we can protect SuperFive from that crazy haired maniac Polamalu. Then we can exploit them just like Fraction Jackson did against Ms. Pacman. It will be a tough game but I believe Westy will help us with those blitzing linebackers by gashing them with draws and screens.

Eagles -VS- Steelers

The Aftermath

Hello Eagles fans,

Well another crazy game was in store for us this Sunday evening, as we hoped to move above 500. There were so much action during the beginning of the game you felt like it was going to be another barn burner. But in the end after injuries and turnovers it turned into our defense imposing their will on the Steelers o-line. Right now I am hoping and praying that everything will be all right with both Westbrook and Donovan.

I really hate those games against the AFC, I don’t understand why but we always lose someone against one of those teams. Last year SuperFive missed two games after playing the Dolphins, the year before that it was the knee against the Titans. Akers getting hurt against the Raiders at home the year before that, I don’t know what it is but a significant injury always happens against one of those teams every year. Not to say that people can’t get hurt against any other team, I guess it’s just paranoia sinking in.

NFC East

Week 3

Hello East fans,

After some great games this Sunday, it is time to analyze the teams in our great division, because no other division really matters in this league. Well let’s start off by evaluating the G-men, whom I really don’t know what to make of just yet. They struggled against a winless, defenseless Bengals team that looked like their season has just started. They went in at halftime losing by three but in reality it could have been more if their D-line had not stepped up and sacked Palmer at the end of the half. Their offense looked somewhat anemic against the bottom feeding defense, if we can even call it a defense of the Bengals.

After a defensive stop the G-men had couple chance to put the game away but once again had problems with a surprising Cincy defense. Their holes in the secondary eventually sealed their fate as the Bungles scored on a touchdown pass to TJ. In overtime Lil’ Peyton lead them down the field with nothing but luck, again. A deflected pass turned into a duck towards what seemed to be four defenders and fell helplessly to the ground. Next play Cincy can’t get to the QB, long pass and the G-men make the kick for the game.

BLAST WEDNESDAYS

Hello NFL fans,

Well I am going to start up something new for all those NFL fans who have a lot to say but can’t get it out, enough. I have a lot of people writing, calling and just talking to me about the things that irk them about the NFL to include players, coaches, mascots, ticket prizes, play calls, cheerleaders…yes even that. I recently decided why not make a weekly manuscript about the things that hurt the fans, I know many legions of people out there are upset about their teams in some way shape or form. This is how we are going to do it every Wednesday, since it is the most boring day of the football week. Mondays and Sundays are game days. Tuesdays are layovers from the previous games and we seem to have nothing available in the middle of the week, until Friday when you get into college football mode.

The Blast 1.5

Hello Blast fans,

I know I was making this a weekly blog for all those problems with everyone’s teams. But the response to the Blast has been overwhelming and some of these are just to funny to wait any longer. Keep on emailing and commenting I love posting up what you guys want to say about your teams.

First off we start in MOTOWN!

“Thank you LORD, for taking the pain away”

“I know all the Lions’ problems will not be answered by getting rid of that inept jockstrap Millen. But at least now we have a new direction that doesn’t point to Hades. I have been a Lions fan since my grandfather tucked me in with stories of Bobby Lane. I will die a Detroit fan, and at least now there is a ray of hope and Mr. Ford has seen it. I will not sit here and bash Mr. Ford, he has done a lot of good things for the community and for the fan base of the Lions. But this was the one thing that we as loyal fans will some day hope to forget. I don’t care if we even win a game the rest of the season, well I do, but starting fresh feels better than listening to Jon (Holmgren Lover) Kitna state why it not his fault that he has so many interceptions or why he quits on play that is still going on.

Hello East fans,

Since there was only on division game this week the world was focused in Dallas.

The G-men were off this week and off out scowering jail cells for their great wide receiver. I am sure they will have enough time to bail him out since he ahs been suspended for a game for missing a team meeting. The Skins were in town to try and upset the undefeated Cowgals.

Both defenses started out playing great, they swarmed to the ball, covered tight and did not over pursue. Soon we saw the real Skins D as they were the first to give up the ghost and go down by a touchdown. Campbell made some awful throws and halted that Skin offense time after time. The Skins did not score until Campbell got some time to throw and then tied up the game with short passes and strong runs by Clown Portis.

Eagles -VS- Bears

Windy city Debacle

Hello Eagles fans,

Well what can we say after that wonderful gift we delivered to the city of Chicago. I felt sick for about three hours after the game, I didn’t want to be talked to or even wanted anything to do with stats and sports of any kind. After the Dallas game I knew we let one get away. After last night it became infuriating and now I just want Sunday to come so we can really find out what kind of team we have.

Every year there are one or two games that reflects the way your season will play out, last year I believe it was the Chicago game. We fought a great D with little offense and when we finally muster up the points to win the game, the D loses it for us. This game the defense showed us that it lacked focus but when it was regained, the game was there to win. The offense faltered in the red zone once again, when are we going fix this problem? Do we get a huge punishing back, why the lack of confidence in Baskett for the fade route, do we really need a taller receiver?

The Crying Game

The Terrell Owens story

Hello NFL fans,

Well here we are, week four of the third year with his last team. This will be his last team, I truly believe that. If I were an owner I would rather get a letter full of anthrax and then imprisoned IN Cuba to spend the rest of my days. The continuous onslaught of reporters and fans condemning my name and wanting my head on a stick would be too much for me to bare.

It is not that I do not want to see Tereal Owins (I will try and misspell his name every chance I get) win or be successful. It is just that he does not let himself be successful, by letting the team win without him having to be the focus of the world. He should be extremely honored that coaches spend 18 hours daily preparing to face him, preparing to cover him, preparing to execute their special packages for him. He wants more, not only does he beat those packages but he wants more, every pass, every play to have his name on it.
