Hello Eagles fans,
After last night’s amazing game, I felt like extending my courtesies to the winning team and wishing them luck the rest of the season. Oh yeah right, they suck and we whooped their butts all over the field! Being the bigger person is so boring, good luck sucking for the rest of the year Cowgals. The confidence in our guys stands out and completely overshadows the opponent.
I wanted to express my feelings towards Crybaby Johnson all during the week preceding last night’s game. He ran his mouth just for the sake of hearing himself speak. I truly believe that he has a mental problem, there is no other way to explain it. He runs his mouth about his team, his coach, his former team and coach. Then two years later proclaims that the Eagles still wanted him there, hey brainiac if Andy wanted you there you would still be there…exhibit A. Brian Westbrook. He also had a Pro bowl year and went about getting his money like a man. Not like the hissy-fit throwing pre-pubescent girl, that he obviously is.
Well the game was a classic division battle that left me upset at my team not because we lost to the Cowgals, but because we lost. After a couple of big plays to Mr. Johnson we shut him down. One more thing can anyone tell me why was Considine in the game other than on special teams? Really can you? Before the first TD I literally said, “Considine, oh no” then a pump and he was gone. Yeah you are saying well if our linemen get to Jessica Simpson I mean Romo then it doesn’t happen. Yeah “if” and if we turn one of those field goals into touchdowns we don't even have game left. If we tackle Felix the cat then it’s a blow out…if..if,
I do not like to dwell on the maybe and if’s, we didn’t get it done and that’s it.
The other thing that really bothered me is after the shutting down the receivers, their best pass catcher killed us over the middle. When they needed a big play they went to Witten, I knew that two years ago, so why didn’t our guys. I am sure they did I just do not like excuses. I know there will be skeptics that say well Donovan should have ran in the last plays of the game instead of waiting for a receiver to come open. Not caring about that, he messed up on the play that counted, the fumble. That clearly changed the momentum of the game. We still had shots at the end of the game, but they knew we had to pass so they stayed back like smart teams do.
As we look towards the Steelers, I can’t help but feel somewhat confident in our guys, there was never a doubt in my mind we were going to win. I didn’t have that feeling last year, at all, in any game. That feeling has returned and I know that not only can we win this division, but the conference.Have the sense that the team is confident in their abilities and will be able to fix in time for the Big Ben & co.
