Wow, a clash of the defenses...

By the time the game was over I was reaching for my anti-anxiety medicine that I do not own and do not take.  So yeah, the Sunday night game between the Eagles and Bears stressed me out a bit.  It seemed at times that McNabb could pull it off and then sometimes he looked completely clueless.  I just don't understand how the Cowboys have Barber and Jones, the Jaguars have Jones-Drew and Taylor, but when Westbrook goes down, the Eagles are out of luck.  How come so many teams are drafting young running back studs and the Eagles are not.  Yes, they got lucky with Westbrook coming out of Villanova but that is not going to happen all the time.  The Eagles need to step up take a top rated RB in next years draft.  And at this point their pick might be higher than the one given to us by Carolina from last year.

KC don't stress over a football game...it's just a game!  B.S., you're right...it's more than a game...it's our lives!  The Eagles have drafted other RB's...none have really panned out as legit backups to Westbrook except Buckhalter.  I think Buck did a decent job last night...Westbrook he is not...but not many are!  The Birds do need to draft a RB to be the heir apparent...Westy can't go forever.  The Eagles lost, IMO, because Reid is stubborn...he wanted to pound the ball...to prove the Eagles can be a power team.  But let's face it...they are a finesse team...as most West Coast Offense teams are.  Roll D-Mac out on a bootleg and let him run it in or pass it to a WR...Reid never tried it...why???

  2. I really don't know...it's pretty crazy though just try it once at least..or a sneak something other than just going up the middle.
