Donovan McNabb 2008 NFL MVP?

Donovan McNabb was absolutely crazy to want to start last season.  Granted, he got clearance from the team's doctors, but conventional wisdom should have prevailed. Donovan had seen Carson Palmer come back one year after tearing his ACL and he was half the player he was before the injury; what made him think he'd fare any better after 9 months?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Donovan. When he's healthy he can compete with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. His vision, ability to run/scramble and make quick decisions make him one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Now that he is fully healthy, I expect him to throw for at least 3000, if not 3500 yards and have a TD/INT ratio of 30+/10-.

In these first two games he's proven just that. He's thrown for 642 yds and had 4 TDs/0 INTs; the league average is 302 yds and 2 TDs.

We'll have to see how he does against Pittburgh's defense, but if he continues to perform this way throughout the season, Dallas may have to really fiight to be the remain the Super Bowl favorites this year.
